Calling God by many affectionate names builds the closeness that earns you the right to finally ask for release from worldly bonds.
The verse
अगा श्रीधरा केशवा । अगा बांधवा द्रौपदीच्या ॥१॥
अगा गुणनिधि गुणनिधाना । अगा मर्दना कंसाचिया ॥ध्रु.॥
अगा निर्गुणा निराकारा । अगा आधारा दीनाचिया ॥२॥
अगा काळकृतांत असुरा । अगा अपारा अलक्षा ॥३॥
अगा ये पंढरिनिवासा । अगा सर्वेशा सहजरूपा ॥४॥
अगा कृपाळुवा आपुल्या दासा । तोडीं भवपाशा तुका म्हणे ॥५॥
Literal translation
Agā-Śrīdhara-Keśavā — Draupadī-bāndhavā. Agā-guṇa-nidhi-nidhāna — Kamsa-mardana. Agā-nirguṇa-nirākāra — dīna-ādhāra. Agā-kāḷa-krtānta-asurā — apārā-alakṣa. Agā-Paṇḍharī-nivāsā — sarvēśa-sahaja-rūpa. Agā-krpāḷu-to-dāsa — break-bhava-pāśa-Tukā.

Agā gracious to your own servant — break the samsāra-noose, Tukā says. This abhang is a litany of loving names for God, each one called out with the tender word "agā," the way you would call a close friend. Tukaram addresses the divine as protector of the weak, destroyer of demons, the boundless formless one, and the dweller of Pandharpur, building up closeness name by name. Only after all that does he make his one real request: break the noose of worldly attachment that binds him. The lesson is that piling up affectionate names for God is not empty ritual, it is how you earn the right to ask for something you truly need.
