The verse
भीमातीरवासी । तेथें नश्चियेंसी काशी ॥१॥
मुख्यमुक्तीचें माहेर । ऐसें जाणा पंढरपुर ॥ध्रु.॥
घडे भींवरेशीं स्नान । त्यासि पुन्हा नाहीं जन्म ॥२॥
भाव धरोनि नेटका । मोक्ष जवळी म्हणे तुका ॥३॥
Literal translation
Bhīmā-tīra-vāsī — Kāśī-niścaya. Mukhya-mukti-māhēra — Paṇḍharpur. Bhīmarā-bath — no-rebirth. Bhāva-nēṭkā — mōkṣa-near, Tukā.
What it means
★★ A 3-verse Paṇḍharī-supremacy text. He who is a dweller on the Bhīmā-bank — there, with certainty, is Kāśī. The chief mother-home of liberation — know it is Paṇḍhar-pur. He who manages a bath in the Bhīmarā — no rebirth again for him. Holding well-placed feeling — liberation is near, Tukā says. Four-fold claim: 1. Bhīmā-tīra-vāsa = Kāśī (Paṇḍharī-river-bank is Kāśī) 2. Paṇḍharpur = mukhya-mukti-māhēra (chief mother-home of liberation) 3. Bhīmarā-snāna = no-rebirth 4. Bhāva-nēṭakā = mōkṣa-near
