Abhanga 2168
This is an editorial page, not a verse. No life-lesson — only the recognition that the Gatha's editorial-conventions include such stand-alone colophons.
The verse
॥१॥
Literal translation
English: ॥१॥ — editorial colophon (closes the previous abhang's count as a self-contained unit).
Word-by-word gloss
| Marathi | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ॥१॥ | colophon — stand-alone editorial closure-marker |
What it means
Editorial-colophon page. This entry preserves a colophon-only page in the transliteral.org source (sources/marathi/2168.txt) — a ॥१॥ numbering-marker placed on its own line.
This pattern recurs at several places in this section of the Gatha (1994, 2022, 2027, 2029, 2033, 2041, 2168, 2172 ...): the editor inserts a stand-alone numerical-marker after a particularly-self-contained abhang, signaling its independence from the surrounding-flow. Different from the in-line ॥३॥ / ॥४॥ / ॥१०॥ colophons (cf. 2153, 2162, 2166), which close-multi-abhang-clusters; the stand-alone ॥१॥ marks a single-abhang-closure.
Note on numbering: the corpus preserves the abhang-number-position (2168) for fidelity-to-source, even when the source contains only the colophon.
