Abhanga 2330
The servant must do the Master's word — no hesitation/trick should come of him.
When someone you trust asks you to do something and you're tempted to hesitate, argue, or find a workaround.
When you're asked to guide or explain something to someone that you haven't actually realized yourself.
When conflicting thoughts pull at you and you need to keep your understanding steady and undivided.
The verse
सेवकें करावें स्वामीचें वचन । त्यासी हुंतूंपण कामा नये ॥१॥ घेईंल जीव कां सारील परतें । भंगलिया चित्ती सांदी जनां ॥ध्रु.॥ खद्योतें दावावी रवी केवीं वाट । आपुलें चि नीट उसंतावें ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे तो ज्ञानाचा सागर । परि नेंदी अगर भिजों भेदें ॥३॥
Literal translation
The servant must do the Master's word — no hesitation/trick should come of him. Will take the jīva or push away — if chitta is broken, people [break] the corner. How can the firefly show the sun's path — clean own [path]. Tuka says: he is the ocean of jñāna — but doesn't allow the bridge to get wet by bhēda.
