When love for the divine fills your speech and thought completely, ordinary life and spiritual life merge into one, and the body itself feels cooled by that joy.
When you find yourself talking about what you love without worrying what others think
When you chant a name so often it feels woven into your breath, like a garland around your neck
When a period of devotion leaves your whole body feeling calm and cool
The verse
गुणांचे आवडी वाचेचा पसरू । पडिला विसरु इतरांचा ॥१॥
आदिमध्यअंतीं नाहीं अवसान । जीवनीं जीवन मिळोनि गेलें ॥ध्रु.॥
रामकृष्णनाममाळा हे साजिरी । ओविली गोजिरी कंठाजोगी ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे तनु जालीसे शीतळ । अवघी सकळ ब्रम्हानंदें ॥३॥
Literal translation
Guṇa-āvaḍī, vāchā-pasarū; visaru-of-others. Ādi-madhya-anta no-avasāna; jīvana-merged-in-jīvana. Rāma-Krṣṇa-Nāma-mālā strung-gōjirī, kaṇṭhā-jōgī. Tukā: tanu-cooled, all-brahmānanda.
