Abhanga 3414
Once a bond is fully and openly sealed, there is no more room for calculating who gave more or for petty rivalry.
The verse

Literal translation
Sāṇṭē-happened — no-small-large-calculation. Each-into-other-hand — niścintī-then. No-going-back — happened-before-sākṣī. Tukā: Deva — no-hēvā-here.
What it means
A 3-verse contract-completed text. We have entered each-other's hands at the moment; it was witnessed; no going back. Companion to 2891 (reciprocal family-relation).
For someone today
Tukaram describes a bond with God that has already been sealed, so there is no longer any point in calculating who gave more or less. He says each of them has fallen fully into the other's hand, and the moment that happened, all his anxious uncertainty ended. There is no turning back now, because it happened openly, witnessed, and settled for good. Tukaram closes by asking, since the relationship is already this complete, what room is left for rivalry or petty dispute?
Where this applies
- When you're overthinking who has given more in a relationship instead of trusting the bond itself
- When a commitment has already been made openly and you're tempted to second-guess it
- When you feel anxious uncertainty and need to recognize a decision has already been settled
- When petty comparison creeps into a relationship that should already feel complete and secure
