Not-lāmsi — like-other-māyās.
Tukārām's you-are-not-lāmsi-not-dubaḷī-not-khōṭī-not-karaṇṭa canonical mother-vindication
The verse
नव्हेसी तूं लांसी । मायां आणिकां त्या ऐसी ॥१॥
जे हे वांयां जाती बोल । होती निर्फळ चि फोल ॥ध्रु.॥
नव्हेसी दुबळी । कांहीं नाहीं तें जवळी ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे खोटी । कांहीं नव्हेसी करंटी ॥३॥
Literal translation
Not-lāmsi — like-other-māyās. Vain-words — fruitless-hollow. Not-dubaḷī — nothing-not-near. Tukā: not-khōṭī — not-karaṇṭā.
What it means
A 3-verse vindicate-the-mother text. You're not mean like other māyās; vain-words go hollow; you're not weak — everything is near you; not false, not unfortunate.
