Like a mother who patiently loves through a child's every whim, trust that the divine keeps its promises and cares for your vows faithfully.
The verse
काय त्या दिवस उचिताचा आला । मागील जो केला श्रम होता ॥१॥
ठेवियेला पूर्ण करूनि संकेत । तयापाशीं चित्त लागलें से ॥ध्रु.॥
जाणसी गे माते लेंकराचें लाड । नये पडों आड निष्ठता ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे आम्हीं करावें वचन । तुम्हांसी जतन करणें तें ॥३॥
Literal translation
What-day-of-uchita-came — past-śrama. Lord-kept-samkēta-complete — chitta-attached. You-know-mother-child's-lāḍa — niṣṭha-doesn't-get-in-way. Tukā: we-make-vachana — you-do-jatana.

A 3-verse mother-doctrine text. The proper-day has come for the work-done in the past; the Lord has kept the agreement; mother, you know the child's whims; steadfastness doesn't get in the way; we make the words, you do the preservation.
