Tukārām's satya-samāna-with-tyāga; dāsas-have-āsa-for-each-other canonical
The verse
सत्य त्यागा चि समान । नलगे वेचावें वचन ॥१॥
नारायणा ऐसे दास । येरयेरांची च आस ॥ध्रु.॥
मळ नाहीं चित्ता । तेथें देवाची च सत्ता ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे जाण । तें च भल्याचें वचन ॥३॥
Literal translation
Satya-samāna-with-tyāga — no-need-to-spend-vachana. Nārāyaṇa's-dāsas — āsa-for-each-other. No-maḷa-in-chitta — Deva's-sattā-there. Tukā: know — bhalā's-vachana.
What it means
A 3-verse text. Truth is equal to renunciation — no need to spend words. Nārāyaṇa's servants long for each-other. Where there's no stain in chitta, there is Deva's authority. Know — that itself is the good-person's word.
