Tukaram says he will hold onto what he has truly seen and stay settled in contentment rather than chasing after more. His faith is the treasure he keeps stored up, and it is through that faith that he comes to know the living presence of the world. He plans to pour out all his heartfelt, pleading words to God at once, and then simply waits, asking what more his Father could possibly do for him than to appear before him in a form he can see.
The verse
Literal translation
What-seen-hold-in-mana — stay-in-samādhāna. Bhāva-my-sāṇṭavaṇa — to-know-jaga-jīvana. Utter-all-at-once these-karuṇā-uttara. Tukā: come-into-rūpa — what-else-bāpā-do.
What it means
A 3-verse text. I'll hold what-I-see in mana; bhāva is my treasure-store to know the jaga-jīvana; I'll utter all these karuṇā-uttara at once; come into form — what else will you do, father?
