Abhanga 3680
Deep devotion can be bold and playful enough to claim intimate authority over the very God it loves, having received everything and left nothing held back.
The verse
येणें जाला तुमचे पोतडीचा झाडा । केलासी उघडा पांडुरंगा ॥१॥
भरूनियां घरीं राहिलों वाखती । आपुली निश्चिंती आपल्यापें ॥ध्रु.॥
आतां काय उरी उरली ते सांगा । आणिलेति जगाचिये साक्षी ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे कोठें पाहोंजासी आतां । माझी जाली सत्ता तुम्हांवरि ॥३॥
Literal translation
Jhāḍā-of-pōtaḍī-done — made-you-ughaḍā-Pāṇḍurangā. Filled-gharī-stayed-vākhatī — own-niścintī-with-self. What-urī-left — brought-jagat-sākṣī. Tukā: where-pāhōmjāsī-now — my-sattā-over-you.
What it means
A striking 3-verse text. By this, your treasury has been swept-out-and-emptied; you've been exposed, Pāṇḍuranga; I've filled my house and stayed at-ease; what's left? — you brought witnesses; where will you go now to be-seen? — my sattā has come over you. Companion to 3434 (āvaḍīchyā-sattā I'll-make-you-do-it), 3486 (I've-caught-you-it's-my-turn).

Tukaram makes a bold, playful claim here, saying he has emptied out God's entire treasury and left Panduranga completely exposed, with nothing left to hide. He says his own house is now full and he can sit at ease, worry free, having taken everything he needed. He asks pointedly, what is left now, since the whole world has witnessed this exchange as a witness. He ends with a cheeky challenge, asking where God can possibly go to hide now, because through devotion Tukaram's claim has come to hold power even over God. It captures the intimate audacity of real bhakti, love bold enough to tease and claim its beloved.
