Abhanga 3834

The verse

Literal translation

Brahma-jñāna-in-every-house — sarva-nirantara-chatur-bhuja. No-pāpa-rīga — Kāḷa's-khaṇḍana — Hari-nāma-kīrtana-parōparī. Tukā: this-only-bhāva-in-chitta — no-chāḍa-for-other-gati.

What it means

★ A 3-verse companion-formulation to the famous 3730 (dhanya-tō-grāma-where-Hari-dāsas). Brahma-jñāna in every house; all beings are continuously four-armed (like Viṣṇu, i.e., divine). No entry for sin; Kāḷa is broken; Hari-nāma-kīrtana flows in every way. This alone is the bhāva in my chitta — I have no relish for any other goal. The line sarva nirantara chatur-bhuja (all-beings-continuously-four-armed) extends 3730's nara-nārī-chatur-bhuja to include literally everyone — radical equality-of-divinization. Pair with 3730 (dhanya-tō-grāma), 3735 (janī Janārdana — humanity-as-divine).
