Abhanga 4106

Tukārām's all-decision-in-your-hand; placed-everything-at-feet-staying-nivānta; what-you-do-I-watch canonical total-handing-over

The verse

Literal translation

Ghāta-or-hita — all-in-your-hand. Placed-jīva-bhāva-chitta-at-feet — nivānta-Pāṇḍuranga. Chitta-chāḷaka-buddhi-janitā — all-sattā. Tukā: what-you-do-I-watch — wherever-you-keep-I-stay-sukhē.

What it means

A 3-verse total-handing-over text. Whether my downfall or fall or great welfare — the whole decision is in your hand. Placing life-state and mind at your place, I have remained silent, Pāṇḍuranga. The mover of chitta, the begetter of buddhi — what sovereignty is not in your hand? What you do, I'll watch; wherever you keep me, I'll stay happily. The complete handing-over — the very mover of chitta and begetter of buddhi is you, so I have nothing to decide. Pair with 3913 (Lord-the-true-actor), 3933 (body-is-Deva's-money).
