The verse
भक्तीचें वर्म जयाचिये हातीं । तया घरी शांति दया ॥१॥
अष्टमासिद्धि वोळगती द्वारीं । न वजती दुरी दवडितां॥ध्रु.॥
तेथें दुष्ट गुण न मिळे निशेष । चैतन्याचा वास जयामाजी ॥२॥
संतुष्ट चित्त सदा सर्वकाळ । तुटली हळहळ त्रिगुणाची ॥३॥
तुका म्हणे येथें काय तो संदेह । आमचें गौरव आम्ही करूं ॥४॥
Literal translation
Bhakti-varma-in-hand — śānti-dayā-at-home. Aṣṭa-siddhis-at-door — won't-go-far. No-duṣṭa-guṇa — chaitanya-vāsa. Chitta-samtuṣṭa — triguṇa-haḷahaḷa-cut. Tukā: no-samdēha — own-gaurava.
What it means
★ A 4-verse bhakta-portrait text. He in whose hand is the essence of bhakti — at his home there is peace and mercy. The eight-great-siddhis attend at his door; even if driven off, they don't go far. No defective quality sticks; chaitanya dwells in him. His mind is content always; the smouldering-restlessness of the three guṇas is cut. What doubt is there here? — we do our own honor (self-attesting). The aṣṭa-siddhis-attending-at-the-bhakta's-door is a striking image — the eight great-yogic-powers as servants-of-the-bhakti-house.
